The 2016 Mazda 6 has some of the best looking gauges available.
While most cars have gone to full color, including the Mazda 6 in 2017, my 6 has the timeless look of black and white. It shows all the information I need without being excessive.
Some may like flashy standout cars or things, but I love my 6 for being stylish and fresh if a bit anonymous. If only the same could be said for more cars on sale today.

Timeless, eh? That must be annoying. Shoulda sprung for the clock option.

That’s pretty good, I just prefer my tach and speedo to be the same size*. That has bugged me for a long time. Great simple color contrast, though. Thumbs up.
*Or the tach dead center and large, plus tilted at an angle to help me manage peak power. :D

Oil and water temp gauges are missing, and battery/voltage info would be nice. Are they a menu option on the right, or just warning lights?

I do like the look, but I loathe the white backlighting. I prefer orange or red. Less harsh at night.

I loved the red dash lights on the 2006 Mazda 6 that I had. Felt like a spaceship every time I turned it on. Also far better for driving at night.

I’m partial to my Mazda’s gauges as well! Big ol tach, speedo in the corner and a HUD above

I loved the gauges on the 208 GTI
And of course the RX-8: red needles and white numbers by day, red needles and number and blue lighting by night.

An old Mazda never dies. It just rusts away.

I wish. Unfortunately, it is a CX-3! Same cluster as a Miata I think

I’m the opposite. I will not own a car with any color other than blue or white backlighting. Other colors just look cheap to me.

I hated the orange gauges. It stopped me from getting a Mazda before.

Just warning lights, but it’s not sporty or hauling anything so I dont mind those missing.

I never kiked the red/orange back lighting. I need blue or white even if it’s worse at night.

I think white looks classy - these gauges do look great - I just don’t like it at night. Blue reminds me of Hyundai too much and makes me think cheap. I don’t know if they are still doing it but in the 2005-2010 era all Hyundais had all blue lighting and it bugged me. I owned one for 4 years and never really came around to liking that lighting.

I can understand that, I just love the color blue too much. My last car had aqua lighting and I hated it so I took apart every piece that was lit, including the radio, and converted it to be blue. I would not recommend ever doing that and dont plan to ever do it again.
